For First-Time Students

For those attending lessons for the first time, we generally recommend beginning with the Introductory Trial Lesson (45 minutes / ¥5,000). This initial session provides an opportunity to discuss your goals, interests, previous experience, and any challenges you may currently be facing. Through a brief exploration of your voice, personalised guidance will be offered based on your individual needs and aspirations. Should you wish to continue, regular lessons can then be recommended according to your artistic interests and vocal goals. Whether you are discovering your voice for the first time or seeking new perspectives in your ongoing development, we look forward to welcoming you.

• As a general rule, lesson fees are non-refundable once payment has been received.

• Refunds cannot be provided for same-day cancellations or missed lessons without notice.

• In the event of a no-show cancellation, future reservation requests may be declined.

7. Late Arrivals

• As studio time is limited, lesson end times cannot be extended due to late arrival.

• No lesson extensions, make-up lessons, or refunds will be provided for lateness caused by the student.

• The same policy generally applies in cases of transportation delays.

• If a significant delay makes it impractical to conduct the lesson, the lesson may be treated as a same-day cancellation.

• If a lesson begins late due to instructor circumstances, every effort will be made to provide the full lesson time whenever possible.

8. Audio & Video Recording

• Audio recording may be permitted for personal practice and lesson review purposes only.

• If you wish to record a lesson, please request permission before the lesson begins.

• If a student wishes to photograph or film the instructor, prior consultation is required.

• The instructor's image, voice, lesson content, and teaching materials may not be published without permission.

• If students wish to post lesson-related photographs or videos on social media or other platforms, prior approval from the instructor is required.

• Defamatory, misleading, harmful, or disruptive online content is strictly prohibited.

10. Health & Physical Condition

• Lessons may be cancelled or postponed if safe travel is considered difficult due to earthquakes, typhoons, heavy snowfall, flooding, or other natural disasters.

• The same applies in cases of major public transportation suspensions or significant disruptions.

• The safety of both students and the instructor will always be the highest priority.

• In the event of cancellation or postponement, every effort will be made to provide notice as promptly as possible.

• If a lesson is cancelled due to instructor circumstances, an alternative lesson date will generally be offered.

• However, if studio cancellation fees are imposed according to the studio's own policies, students may be responsible for those costs.

12. Lesson Content & Results

• Lessons are intended to support the development of vocal technique, vocal production, breath coordination, resonance, musical expression, and body awareness.

• Lesson content may be adjusted according to each student's experience, goals, and current condition.

• Individualised instruction is provided for every student; however, results will naturally vary from person to person.

• Long-term development depends not only on lessons, but also on regular practice and personal commitment.

• While the instructor will always provide professional guidance to the best of his ability, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

• Lessons do not guarantee audition success, competition results, professional engagements, academic admission, or employment opportunities.

• Students are responsible for applying lesson content according to their own physical condition and technical level.

• The instructor cannot accept responsibility for practice routines, performances, auditions, or other activities undertaken at the student's own discretion.

• Lesson content may be updated or modified without prior notice.

• Where appropriate, alternative learning approaches or teaching methods may be recommended in order to better support the student's development.

• Participation in lessons while under the influence of alcohol is prohibited.

• If a lesson is cancelled due to intoxication, no refund will be provided.

• Participation while under the influence of illegal drugs or similar substances is strictly prohibited.

• Any behaviour that causes disruption or inconvenience to studio staff, other studio users, or neighbouring facilities is prohibited.

• If a student's behaviour significantly interferes with the lesson, participation may be refused.

• If any of the above conduct is confirmed, the lesson may be terminated immediately and future reservations or participation may be refused.

• In serious cases, consultation with appropriate authorities or other necessary actions may be taken.

14. Instructor Cancellations

• Lessons may occasionally be cancelled due to instructor illness, accidents, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, or other unavoidable circumstances.

• In such cases, every effort will be made to provide notice as promptly as possible.

• If a lesson is cancelled by the instructor, an alternative lesson date will generally be offered.

• If rescheduling is not possible, the lesson fee will be refunded.

• Refunds, when applicable, will be processed via bank transfer to a designated account or through PayPal.

• In the event of an instructor cancellation, every effort will be made to ensure that students are treated fairly and without disadvantage.

• Transportation expenses, accommodation costs, or other incidental expenses incurred by the student cannot be reimbursed.

15. Personal Belongings & Valuables
